CCS Demonstrated Capabilities to Build Smart Dubai at IoTx 2015 2015/06/19

On June 8, 2015, the very first Internet of Things Expo (IoTX) took place at Dubai World Trade Centre and was hosted by Dubai Smart Government. By collecting the industry’s most influential global brands and thought-leaders, the IoTX acted as a strategic platform for regional firms to identify and adopt futuristic technologies that help make smarter cities through creativity, collaboration and innovation.

With Dubai Smart Government, Smart Dubai and Dubai Internet City among the numerous UAE-based public sector entities participating at IoTX 2015, 42 of the world’s leading technology firms are championing a host of ‘disruptive’ solutions for effective digital transformation across more than 6,500 square metres of exhibition space.

This year, China Communications Services demonstrated its strong capability in building smart cities with multiple smart solutions, rich experience and success in cases such as Smart Nanjing, Smart Ningbo and Smart Qianhai. 

During the 2 days event, over 200 clients and guests paid visit to CCS’ exhibition booth. On behalf of CCS, Dr. Xi Jiarong, Technical Director, Research Institute of Smart City, attended panel discussion - “Digitizing A Nation, Opportunities And Implications”, exchanging views on future development trend of Smart Dubai with technical experts from Cisco, Intel and other renowned companies. Meanwhile, Mr. Fan Changliang, the General Manager of CCS UAE was interviewed by CCTV and several local media.

The Internet of Things Expo addresses the great need to make cities smarter through creativity, collaboration and innovation. It has provided a critical platform for companies from different sectors to ensure optimum collaboration and inter-operability. By demonstrating its capabilities and rich experience in building smart cities, CCS has established solid brand image among target customers and deepened its recognition in the Middle East region.
